Full-Time Staff Pharmacist 13-Week Contract with Opportunity for Permanent Position
Location: Fairfield, OH
Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Staff Pharmacist to join a well-established pharmacy team in Fairfield, OH. This full-time role offers an initial 13-week contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on your performance.

Shift Schedule Options:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM

• Evening Shifts:

• 12:00 PM 8:00 PM

• 3:00 PM 11:00 PM

• 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and ensure the efficiency of pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks, maintaining accuracy in medication preparation, packaging, and workflow

• Review all medication orders for correct dosage, drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing

• Manage the ordering, receiving, and storage of controlled substances, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for Schedule II drugs

• Supervise and ensure the safety and security of the pharmacy area, including adherence to delivery schedules

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Ohio

• Previous experience in high-volume retail or compounding pharmacy environments is preferred but not required

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a pharmacy team and collaborate across departments
