Our Staff Pharmacists play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in their pharmacy by acting as role models, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team. As a Staff Pharmacist, you support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and overseeing all aspects of the pharmacy operations. Your responsibilities include:

1. Managing and improving patient health through safe dispensing, counseling, and immunizations.
2. Supporting the Pharmacy Manager and acting as the primary pharmacist during shifts, including coaching and providing feedback to the pharmacy team.
3. Ensuring safe and accurate prescription fulfillment and following pharmacy workflow procedures.
4. Providing compassionate care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and resolving insurance or medication issues.
5. Administering immunizations and supporting pharmacy technicians in immunization efforts.
6. Managing pharmacy inventory, especially cold chain products, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
7. Supporting pharmacy operations to comply with state regulations and escalating issues as needed.
8. Maintaining clinical and technical skills, seeking knowledge expansion, and supporting clinical services where permissible.
9. Adhering to laws, regulations, standards, and policies to ensure patient safety and a respectful workplace.
