Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare's Burn Center seeks an experienced Staff Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The role supports critical care delivery with 12-hour shifts, working day and night rotations, including every third weekend.

Qualifications include 2 years in inpatient Med/Surg, Minnesota RN licensure, and graduation from an accredited nursing program. ICU/Burn experience and telemetry competence within 6 months are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent RN experience in an inpatient Med/Surg setting.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; Minnesota RN license required.
• ICU or Burn experience preferred; certification in area of clinical specialty.
• Must be telemetry competent within 6 months and complete ICU/PICU training.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate nursing care within the Patient and Family Centered Care model.
• Protect, promote, and optimize health; prevent illness and injury; alleviate suffering.
• Document interventions and an individualized plan of care.
• Partner with patient and family and significant others.

Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged.
