Job summary

Health Here in Akron, OH is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide individualized and group nursing care, assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct patient care with a family-centered approach within their scope of practice.

You will lead patient-centered care, collaborate with teams, participate in quality improvement, and apply evidence-based practices. A BSN or enrollment, Ohio RN license, BLS required, 0-2 years experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing knowledge to address physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients of all ages.
• Relevant nursing experience for the patient population served.
• Strong task prioritization and management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
• EMR experience preferred.

Role: The Staff Nurse provides individualized and group nursing care based on principles from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. They assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and direct patient care with a family-centered approach within their scope of practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with EMR software preferred

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's in Nursing (BSN) or obtaining it within 5 years
• Licensed to practice nursing in Ohio
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred
