Summary

The Staff Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care based on principles from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient-centered care, while demonstrating the knowledge and skills to meet the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients of all ages. They perform leadership, quality improvement, safety duties, and support staff education and mentorship. The role involves promoting collaboration within a team to deliver efficient, high-quality care with a focus on pediatric patients, utilizing evidence-based practices, informatics, and technology. Additional duties may include temporary assignments across the organization based on patient needs.
