Brethren Care Village in Ohio seeks a Staff Nurse (LPN) to join our mission-driven team. This part-time role includes day (6am–6pm) and evening (6pm–10pm) shifts, plus weekend coverage and PRN opportunities.

Pay ranges from $24 to $25.80 per hour, with differential adds for evenings, nights, and weekends. The role provides nursing care within a Christian-based senior living community, adhering to the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

• Current/valid LPN license in Ohio is required.
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Onsite presence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain nursing standards and follow facility policies and procedures.
• Attend team care conferences and provide instruction to nursing assistants.
• Assess residents, document in records, and administer medications per policy.
• Act as team leader and communicate with residents, families, and staff.
• Ensure resident call lights are answered.

The Staff Nurse (LPN) supports our mission and values by performing nursing practices within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Ohio, and in accordance with job standards and as directed by the Health Services Supervisor.

The Staff Nurse (LPN) primary responsibilities include:

• Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements the policies and procedures of the facilities nursing department including skin grids and treatments, preventative skin plans, preventative fall plans, incident reports and admission paperwork.
• Attends team care conferences as needed.
• Provides oral instructions to nursing assistants.
• Assesses residents and records all pertinent information in resident's records.
• Document administration of medications according to facility policies and procedures.
• Functions as team leader and supervisor.
• Supplies and interprets information, supports decisions, and facilitates communications with residents and their families, and nursing assistants and support staff.
• Assures that resident's call lights are answered.
• Other duties as assigned.
