Job summary

The Alden Network in Illinois is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants. You will ensure quality care following federal, state, and local standards and facility policies, while maintaining a warm, professional environment.

You will plan care, document thoroughly, administer medications as ordered, and participate in ongoing training and care conferences to support residents’ health and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• CPR certification required within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and medical procedures.
• Demonstrates interest/knowledge in elder care.
• Must read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to interact tactfully with customers, families, and staff.
• Must have leadership and supervisory abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants per standards.
• Plan and direct care for customers, ensuring quality, compliant with policies.
• Develop care plans, participate in care conferences, and monitor progress.
• Administer medications as ordered and document care accurately.
• Attend meetings and training to maintain regulatory compliance.
