The Alden Network is seeking a qualified nurse (RN or LPN) to provide direct patient care and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.

The role emphasizes leadership, quality care, accurate documentation, and coordination with physicians and families. Candidates must have current IL/WI license, CPR, and strong English communication skills. On-site work with a supportive team and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• Current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to interact tactfully with customers, family, and staff.
• Leadership and supervisory ability.
• Personable, energetic, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies.
• Plan and implement individualized care plans.
• Attend care plan conferences and communicate with physicians and families.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Maintain a warm and calm department atmosphere.
• Participate in ongoing staff education and training.
