Job summary

Qualifications

• Current experience within past five years or new nursing graduate within past two years
• State Licensed Registered Nurse for State of employment
• CPR – Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of patient care by utilizing evidence based practice to optimize patient safety and reduce errors.
• Follows the six medication rights and administers medications based on the age and clinical condition of the patient.
• Explains procedures, therapies and treatments to patient and family, evaluates and documents response to teaching.
• Develops, implements and updates an individualized plan of care including discharge planning.
• Identifies patient care needs and learns needs, and collaborates with the health team.
