Job Title: STAFF NURSE I/ II

Join to apply for the STAFF NURSE I/ II role at Montefiore Health System.

This position involves providing professional nursing care to assigned patients, including assessing patients, developing and documenting nursing care and discharge plans, and preparing and administering medications and interventions. The role also supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff involved in patient care activities.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• One (1) year of acute care RN experience required; exceptional recent graduates will be considered.
• Two (2) years of RN experience in Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Emergency Department preferred.
• New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R.N.
• BSN Degree preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS Training.
• Infection Control and Barrier Precaution Certification in specialty preferred.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
