Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Analog & Nuclear Hardness and Survivability (NH&S) Design Engineer to join our Woodland Hills, CA team. You will combine deep analog design expertise with leadership in NH&S environments, driving radiation effects analysis, survivable electronics, and system verification through MBSE, DevSecOps, and Agile practices.

The role requires active Secret Clearance, on-site work in California, and collaboration across disciplines to deliver mission-critical, hardened

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12 years of experience, Master's with 8 years, or Ph.D. with 6 years in STEM.
• US Citizenship required; Active Secret Clearance.
• Experience in analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation.
• Schematic capture and layout in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium.
• Experience with circuit and subsystem test and troubleshooting.
• Onsite work in Woodland Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform analog circuit design and analysis for survivable electronic systems.
• Develop subsystem requirements and detailed designs; verify and characterize designs.
• Model, simulate, and analyze signals and power integrity in PCB designs.
• Capture schematics and support PCB layout using Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, and/or Altium.
• Support lab testing and verification of analog and mixed-signal hardware.
• Lead design reviews for survivable systems and ensure robust verification.
