Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Analog & Nuclear Hardness and Survivability Design Engineer for Woodland Hills, CA. The role focuses on analog circuit design, NH&S requirements, and radiation effects analysis to ensure survivable electronic systems.

The position offers a 9/80 work schedule, on-site work in California, and a competitive salary range reflecting senior expertise and security clearances. Eligible for overtime and discretionary bonuses depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, Master’s degree with 8 years of experience, or Ph.D. with 6 years in STEM.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience in analog circuit design, modeling, and simulation.
• Schematic capture and layout in Mentor Xpedition, Cadence, or Altium Designer.
• Experience with MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-464, MIL-STD-883 testing or similar.
• Knowledge of nuclear weapons effects and related testing.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis and modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design analog circuits and analyze systems for survivable electronics.
• Define NH&S environments, decompose requirements to hardware/software interfaces.
• Perform radiation transport modeling and assess radiation effects on devices.
• Lead design reviews and ensure robust verification and validation of NH&S requirements.
• Support testing and qualification of components and subsystems.
