Mytra is seeking a Staff Network Systems Engineer to own the network subsystem for our robotic warehouse automation platform. You will design, validate, and deploy wired and wireless networks across robots, on-premises compute, and operator interfaces.

You will translate system requirements into robust network architectures, select hardware, and drive performance, reliability, and security in challenging industrial environments.

Competenze

• Extensive experience designing and deploying production network systems.
• Deep knowledge of Ethernet, IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, QoS, redundancy, and security.
• Strong Wi‑Fi/RF fundamentals, channel planning, interference management, roaming and antenna characteristics.

Mansioni

• Serve as the technical DRI for Mytra's product network and its architecture.
• Own wired and wireless design, topology, routing, segmentation, redundancy, and capacity.
• Translate requirements into concrete network architectures and acceptance criteria.
• Select, evaluate, and qualify networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, APs, antennas).
• Lead wireless AP placement for mobile robots and roaming between APs.
• Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams on cabinets, power, and thermal aspects.
• Define standard configurations, deployment practices, and automation for reproducible deployments.
• Develop network qualification, performance, and acceptance testing covering wireless and latency metrics.
• Establish observability, telemetry, diagnostics, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Lead investigations of complex system-level issues across robots, network, and on‑premise compute.
• Own the roadmap for the network subsystem as scale increases.
• Create standards, documentation, and commissioning procedures for deployment and support.
