Affirm is seeking an Engineering Manager for the App Infra team to own the app architecture, building blocks, and processes that empower engineers to ship high-velocity, high-quality mobile features.

You will lead senior engineers, drive the roadmap for mobile app infrastructure, and collaborate across product, design, and leadership to deliver reliable experiences for millions of users. This is a remote-first role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on mobile app and web engineering experience.
• 3+ years working with React Native.
• 3+ years managing and growing engineering teams.
• Experience delivering consumer-facing mobile apps end-to-end.
• Proven track record of scaling mobile apps to 1+ million MAU.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision and roadmap for Mobile App Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on architecture, productivity, reliability, and performance.
• Lead and grow a team of senior engineers building a mobile app platform and tooling.
• Build trust and align across engineering, product, design, and leadership on cross-team efforts.
• Make hands-on technical contributions on a regular basis.
