Job summary

Samsara is hiring for a Staff MLE - Supply Chain role, fully remote in the US/Canada. You will design, train and deploy ML models to optimize our global supply network, including demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supplier risk scoring.

You will own end-to-end AI transformation with strong MLOps practices and cross-functional collaboration. You will build features from ERP, IoT, and third-party datasets, and mentor teammates while partnering with Product, Engineering, Procurement,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in applied data science or ML, ideally in supply chain, operations research, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience building real-time inference pipelines and managing GPU/TPU resources for training at scale.
• Familiar with data visualization tools and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for supply chain alongside leadership.
• Design, train, validate, and deploy ML models to production with MLOps practices.
• Build predictive models for demand, inventory, lead times, and spend across global supply network.
• Create features from ERP, IoT, and third-party datasets; build ETL pipelines.
• Mentor junior scientists and drive data governance and lifecycle management.
