Reddit is seeking a Staff engineer for Ads Creative Effectiveness to lead GenAI-powered ad creative pipelines, from image and video editing to brand-preserving generation.

You will collaborate across Product, Sales, Policy, UX and Ads ML teams to deploy safe, high-performance generation that drives CTR and CVR, while upholding brand guidelines.

This role requires hands-on ML mastery, experimentation chops, and the ability to distill complex trade-offs for executives.

Qualifications

Hands-on ML experience with tree models, neural nets and ads-specific fine-tuning.
Strong experimentation skills with uplift metrics and A/B testing for generative systems.
Understanding of ads marketplace dynamics to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

Architect state-of-the-art generative workflows for ad creative with brand preservation.
Build image/video editing capabilities while enforcing brand guidelines.
Fine-tune LLMs/VLMs with RLHF/RLPF for ads.
Design safety and copyright-compliance filters.
Collaborate with Product, Sales, Policy and UX to integrate ACE into UI and delivery path.
