Reddit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Agentic Ads Experience team. You will design, build, and ship AI-powered product experiences that help advertisers work with the Reddit Ads Platform.

You own features end-to-end, from framing problems to rollout, measurement, and refinement. The ideal candidate has hands-on generative AI experience, a product-minded approach, and a track record of shipping reliable systems that advertisers trust.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience shipping and operating production systems.
• Hands-on experience building generative AI applications.
• Excellent communication skills in a remote environment.
• Extensive software development in Python, Go, Rust, Java, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship advertiser-facing AI features and platform end-to-end, from prototype to GA.
• Make architectural calls on AI usage, including LLM calls, workflows, and retrieval systems.
• Build for failure modes of LLMs with guardrails, retries, and cost controls.
• Define offline and online evals, instrument traces, and connect metrics to outcomes.
• Design for data isolation, permissions, auditability, and policy compliance.
