General Motors is seeking an experienced ML/RL specialist to advance autonomous vehicle technologies. You will develop training loops, streamline ML infrastructure, and build production data pipelines to accelerate experiments and deployment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in robotics or latency-sensitive backend services.
• Experience with ML teams, algorithms, and models.
• Experience building highly performant ML and system pipelines.
• Strong programming skills in modern C++ or Python.
• Experience with profiling CPU and/or GPU software, process scheduling, and prioritization.
• Passionate about self-driving car technology and its impact on the world.
• Expertise in scalable, fault-tolerant architectures that are easily extensible.

Responsibilities

• Develop ML and RL models, including training loop development and optimization.
• Build ML infrastructure, metrics, and data pipelines for production deployment and experimentation.
• Collaborate with ML team to accelerate project timelines, especially for AV tech.
• Contribute SWE expertise across multiple systems and architectures.
• Deploy perception/prediction/AV models into real-world environments.
