Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Senior ML Infra Engineer to build critical infrastructure powering ML engineers working on Autonomous Driving models. You will design scalable platforms for model training and evaluation, and own projects end-to-end while collaborating with multiple teams.

You will mentor engineers and participate in interviewing, helping to grow the team's capabilities as we accelerate AI-driven vehicle advancement across GM.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems or advanced ML applications.
  • Proven track record of building robust frameworks with high-quality APIs.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and ML lifecycle practices.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, implementation, and deployment of scalable ML infra platforms and tools for model training and evaluation across GM.
  • Own complex technical projects end-to-end, with architectural decisions and code quality responsibilities.
  • Take a holistic view of projects, drive prioritization across teams, and collaborate with partner teams for maximum system impact.
  • Shape the team through technical interviewing, and mentor/join interns and engineers.
