Job summary

Analog Devices, a global semiconductor leader, is seeking a Staff Engineer for MEMS Test Engineering - Product Development in Wilmington, MA. This role focuses on designing high-performance MEMS test solutions, handling multi-site production test, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will work with Design, Systems/Applications, and Manufacturing teams to ensure test plans meet device specifications and production targets, with a hybrid/remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance MEMS test solutions for first silicon verification, characterization, qualification and manufacturing.
• Design, develop and debug multi-site, cost-effective test hardware/software solutions for characterization, qualification and production wafer probe and final test.
• Define calibration methods for key Inertial Measurement Units (IMU) product parameters.
• Design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing, evaluating and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing.
• Define test schematics and work with layout engineers in designing printed circuit boards multi-site test hardware.
• Debug test programs, correlate production test solutions to engineering bench measurements, and transfer production test solutions to manufacturing sites.
• Engage and support manufacturing to maintain production yield, quality and resolve product and test problems after production release.
• Participate in new product development teams and evaluate new test systems for future applications and define methods to specify and guarantee key test parameters for MEMS devices and IMUs.
