Job summary

STJ St. Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon, WV seeks a Medical Technologist to perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests across disciplines. You will follow SOPs, ensure quality control, and review results for accuracy and critical limits, with night shift 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining instruments, performing phlebotomy as needed, documenting findings, and collaborating with nurses and physicians while upholding safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science.
• WV licensure as required (HCTP or Trainee license) per WV Dept. of Health.
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred.

• Set up, run, maintain, and adjust laboratory instruments per SOPs.
