Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience OR Master’s with 10+ OR PhD with 8+ years.
- Expertise with Siemens NX CAD software.
- GD&T, drawing creation and tolerance analysis.
- Strong presentation and writing/communication skills.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and obtaining security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Support design and development for inertial navigation systems and existing product lines.
- Perform GD&T, drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing work instructions.
- Develop and execute mechanical testing and qualification plans (vibration, thermal, shock, life).
- Collaborate with chief engineer, program management, and cross-functional teams.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews; ensure high-reliability inertial products.
