Job summary

Expand Power Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to lead the mechanical design of its power electronics portfolio. You will own packaging, thermal management, and enclosure strategies for high‑power modules and mentor junior engineers.

You will drive design for manufacturing, validate through lab tests, and collaborate with a small, mission‑driven team building grid‑scale breakthroughs in a hands‑on startup setting.

Qualifications

• Extensive enclosure and thermal design for high‑power electronics.
• Experience taking hardware from concept to production.
• Fluent in mechanical engineering fundamentals and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design from cabinet to board level for power electronics.
• Define packaging, cooling, and protection for real‑world deployment.
• Manage CAD modeling, prototyping, testing, and validation.
