Job summary

Expand Power Technologies is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead the mechanical design of its DC‑DC module and power electronics hardware. You’ll own thermal management, enclosure development, and packaging for high‑power density converters, collaborating with EE and manufacturing teams to push the technology toward real customer deployments. This onsite Bay Area role offers ownership, growth, and equity potential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with enclosure design and thermal management for high‑power electronics.
• Proven ability to take hardware from concept to production.
• Strong fundamentals in GD&T, FEA, and reliability engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of power electronics enclosures, cooling, and packaging from cabinet to PCBAs.
• Perform multi‑physics simulations and validate designs against targets.
• Collaborate with engineers and vendors to enable manufacturing and deployment.
