Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a hands-on Staff Mechanical Engineer to bridge mechanical and electrical design with manufacturing, driving DFM and DFA to ensure smooth production transitions. You will support prototypes, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement on high-volume electromechanical assemblies.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on product development, strong fundamentals, and collaboration across design, electrical, and manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years hands-on product development for high-volume electromechanical products.
• Strong fundamentals with working knowledge of electrical systems.
• Experience with wire harnesses, PCBA assemblies, sheet metal, plastics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of mechanical components and electromechanical assemblies from concept through production.
• Serve as liaison between design engineering and manufacturing to align design with capabilities.
• Drive DFM and DFA reviews to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Support prototype builds with hands-on activities and issue resolution.
