Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Principal Mechanical Project Engineer to architect mechanical systems, validate them through analysis, and guide engineers and partners to deliver a reliable, manufacturable product.

You will lead complex, multi-stakeholder projects, drive data-driven decisions, run simulations, and release drawings and prototypes aligned with ISO/ASME standards.

This role requires a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, and strong leadership with CAD expertise.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience with program leadership.
• Advanced CAD proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM integration and modern manufacturing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Run simulations and tests to verify function and durability.
• Authorize drawings, models, and prototypes for release.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
