Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 12+ years of progressive manufacturing or design engineering experience with precision mechanical components
• Proven track record of driving significant technical initiatives and mentoring engineers
• Experience delivering complex electromechanical hardware (actuators, robotics) in fast-paced environments
• Deep expertise in MBOM creation, MES integration, RCCA for actuator production
• Proficient with Siemens NX for CAD and Teamcenter for PLM software
• Hands-on experience manufacturing hardware (precision machining, additive manufacturing, electromechanical assembly)
• U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI initiatives, transition precision actuators from prototype to scalable production
• Provide feedback for DFM/DFA for actuator components and systems
• Architect and oversee tooling, jigs, and fixturing for precision actuator assembly
• Establish robust process flows for complex actuator assemblies and testing
• Define, implement, and optimize MBOMs and routings within MES/ERP for actuators
• Drive comprehensive manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and QC plans
• Design and validate test methodologies for torque, speed, precision and environmental qualification
• Mentor engineers during prototype builds and production validation
