Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to be located in West Chester, PA; Raritan, NJ or Zuchwil, Switzerland. You will join the DePuy Synthes TechOps team, applying manufacturing engineering to design, validate and start up world-class manufacturing and assembly operations that meet cost, quality and performance targets.

You will work with cross-functional teams from R&D, Quality, Marketing and Sourcing through the product development lifecycle, develop DFM reviews,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.
• Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries preferred.
• Project management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams through product development to launch.
• Provide design for manufacturability assessments and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage supplier relationships.
• Support ERP and Quality System assessments.
