Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP seeks a Staff Talent Development Manager to create and implement training programs for the firm’s professional staff. You will assess developmental needs, curate content, and ensure consistent, effective learning across offices while partnering with leadership to address skill gaps.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, organizational development, business administration, or related field required; a Master’s degree and/or SPHR/PHR designation is preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of progressively responsible human resources experience, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing employee training and development programs.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, human resources principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HRIS/database software, with Excel proficiency and familiarity with SharePoint or related web design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes organizational learning and development needs to accelerate firm objectives.
  • Collaborates with departments to define learning objectives and design content.
  • Identifies gaps and develops targeted training and development programs.
  • Maintains current knowledge of training methods and regulatory requirements.
  • Plans and facilitates training sessions and coordinates with vendors for external programs.
  • Tracks participation, analyzes data, and reports on training outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Manages training budgets and liaises with leadership to meet milestones.
  • Provides leadership coaching and mentorship to managers and staff.
