CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Java to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale healthcare platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and deliver highly available, secure, scalable applications serving millions of users.

Work with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams to build innovative health solutions. Strong Java, cloud-native, and API development experience required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.
• 7+ years of hands-on Java development with modern Java ecosystems.
• 5+ years with Java, Springboot development.
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and APIs.
• 3+ years CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years Agile development environment.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability of solutions.
• Lead code reviews and ensure coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across the team.
• Adopt best practices and new technologies to improve productivity and code quality.
