CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Java to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale healthcare platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and deliver secure, scalable applications for millions of customers.

As a technical leader, you will partner with Product, Architecture, Security, Operations, and Engineering teams to build innovative solutions that improve healthcare experiences for members, providers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development in large-scale distributed environments.
7+ years of Java application development with modern Java ecosystem frameworks.
5+ years Java, Spring Boot development.
5+ years with enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing.
5+ years designing microservices and APIs.
3+ years CI/CD pipeline automation.
3+ years Agile development environment.

Responsabilités

Design and implement scalable solutions meeting requirements.
Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions.
Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability.
Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards.
Communicate and coordinate with team members.
Adopt best practices and new technologies.
Share knowledge via code reviews, tech talks, and workshops.
Collaborate with developers to implement features and deliver high-quality code.
Mentor junior developers.
