CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer—Java to lead the design, development, and modernization of enterprise-scale healthcare platforms. You will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver secure, scalable applications that support millions of customers.

You will collaborate with Product, Architecture, Security, Operations, and Engineering teams to build innovative solutions that improve healthcare experiences for members, providers, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in a large-scale distributed environment.
• 7+ years of hands-on Java application development experience, including modern Java ecosystem frameworks.
• 5+ years of Java, Spring Boot development experience.
• 5+ years of enterprise cloud initiatives and solutions with cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD Pipeline automation.
• 3+ years of Agile-based development environment.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement scalable solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on performance and scalability to ensure objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Communicate with team members to align on decisions and provide technical insights.
• Adopt new technologies and tools to boost productivity and code quality.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, tech talks and workshops to foster learning.
