Job summary

Jobtailor in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Architect to define technical direction and architecture standards for enterprise IT infrastructure. You will oversee cloud and on‑premises solutions, ensure security and compliance, and mentor engineering teams.

You will architect scalable systems, automate workflows with n8n and AI-assisted tools, translate complex decisions for business stakeholders, and guide management on improvements and risks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and implementing IT solutions in enterprise environments.

Job description

• Define technical direction and architecture standards for IT infrastructure
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex issues, outages, and architectural decisions
• Design and implement automation scripts, workflows, and tools using n8n and AI-assisted development tools
• Architect and oversee enterprise IT solutions across cloud and on-premises environments
• Ensure scalability, security, and compliance of IT solutions
• Mentor Senior Engineers and Engineers through technical guidance, configuration reviews, and career development support

Requirements

• 7+ years designing and implementing IT solutions in enterprise environments, including architecting solutions for other engineers to execute
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and acting as a technical escalation point
• Strong proficiency in Linux OS administration and troubleshooting across Ubuntu, CentOS, and RHEL, including customization for specialized applications
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure Active Directory (SSO, SCIM, conditional access, identity management), and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
• Proficiency with system automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Warp
• Strong understanding of networking technologies including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
• Ability to translate technical decisions for business stakeholders
• Experience with REST APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible (nice to have)
• Strong background in cloud security frameworks and compliance standards including NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS benchmarks (nice to have)
• Experience building or governing AI and automation workflows in a production enterprise environment (nice to have)
• Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert (MS-102) or Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300) certification (nice to have)
