Job summary

A defense contractor is seeking a highly qualified Staff Inspection Program Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G-3 mission at Fort Benning, GA. The role will involve planning and scheduling for staff inspections and preparing after-action reviews. Candidates must have proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and a degree in a relevant field. Active Secret Clearance is required. This is a full-time position with some travel required.

Staff Inspection Program Analyst, MCoE G3 - (2274)

Yorktown Systems Group is seeking a highly qualified Staff Inspection Program Analyst to support the U.S. Army’s Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) G-3 mission at Fort Benning, GA. The G-3 organization encompasses multi-functional services, with numerous locations across Fort Benning. Critical G-3 functions include:

  • Planning and scheduling: Air Operations; Ceremonies and special events; Staff Inspection Program; Long Range Planning Calendar and the Digital Training Management System.
  • Other Support: Strategic Analysis
Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Facilitate scheduling/coordination of staff inspections for the MCoE, ensuring the availability of staff inspection personnel and the unit to be inspected.
  • Prepare Director’s office after‑actions reviews resulting from staff inspections, and upon review and approval by the Government, provide same to each staff activity IAW current Army doctrine.
  • Maintain and update the SharePoint and website for staff inspections for the MCoE, at least monthly.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, surveys, charts, graphs, and tables from rough drafts into final form or intermediate drafts.
  • Process requests for resources and exception to policies for MCoE schools and units for approval by the Director, MCoE G-3 or their designated representative.
  • Coordinate with TRADOC and MCoE staff sections regarding requests for resources and exception to policies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Strong communications skills (oral and written), ability to work cooperatively with military / civilian workforce
  • Working knowledge / understanding of military protocol / chain of command.
  • Degree in Protocol, Military Studies, Communications, Marketing, or Diplomacy (or equivalent experience), experience in scheduling, coordination, and execution of command inspections and knowledge and experience in military protocol (VIP/GO-level).
  • Former Senior NCO or Officer with similar experience as outlined in this announcement is preferred.

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required.

Travel: Some travel may be required.
