Job summary

Wisdom is seeking a Staff Software Engineer focused on Infrastructure to set the technical direction for reliability across the company. This fully remote role will lead the reliability strategy, enhance observability, and improve integration with billing practices, especially in handling AI-driven workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of production systems experience, particularly in fast-paced environments, and a proven track record in managing systems that require high reliability. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape how our technology functions and operates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years running production systems, particularly where downtime had real consequences.
• Experience operating at scale under pressure.
• Hands-on production experience operating at least one major LLM API.

Responsibilities

• Set the reliability strategy for the platform including SLOs and error budgets.
• Own observability end-to-end with tracing, metrics, logging, and alerting.
• Build the incident practice and establish blameless post-incident culture.
