Location: Nashville, TN

Description: We are Verdantas, a national consulting group seeking a talented Civil Engineer III to join our Nashville office. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful civil infrastructure and environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in civil engineering, with a background in land development and water resources design, including stormwater management, site grading, and erosion control.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers with technical and civil engineering design or project management
• Perform technical engineering work related to land development and water resources, including stormwater management design, site grading, erosion and sediment control, preparing plans for agency review, and environmental permitting
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
• Be a critical thinker, self-motivated, willing to learn through trial and error, and committed to growth

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 6+ years of experience in land development civil-site engineering
• Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software
• Knowledge of green infrastructure practices
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred
• EIT or PE certification preferred
• Strong communication skills
