Job summary

Verdantas in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a groundwater specialist to support environmental consulting and civil infrastructure projects. You’ll conduct sampling, analyze hydrogeologic data, and prepare reports while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Geology-focused degree, 3–5 years of relevant field experience, willingness to travel up to 50%, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Studies or Environmental Science with geology focus.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience; advanced degree may count toward experience.
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and drilling oversight.
  • Analyze hydrogeologic data and prepare technical reports, maps, and figures.
  • Support project planning, permitting, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing Health and Safety Plans (HASP).
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project execution.
  • Monitor field activities to ensure data quality and adherence to protocols.
  • Communicate findings to project managers and clients.
  • Contribute to project close-out documentation and regulatory reporting.

What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience. Advanced degree or cooperative education may count toward experience
  • Combination of office and outdoor work environment.
  • When in an outdoor environment, the employee is subject to significant walking distances in uneven terrain, dirt, varying temperatures, weather conditions, wildlife, and noise
  • Must be willing to travel a minimum 50 % of the time
  • Must have a valid driver's license

Salary Range: $62,000.00 - $70,000.00
