Job summary

Agility Robotics is seeking a Staff HiL Software Infrastructure Engineer to lead a modular HiL ecosystem for our next-generation V5 humanoid robot. You’ll own core software infrastructure for automated testing, including real-time models, CI/CD pipelines, and hardware interface libraries.

The role partners with Electrical Engineers and Firmware teams to define signal mapping, fault injection, and sensor data simulation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in test engineering, design verification, or electrical validation
• Robotics/complex hardware systems experience preferred
• HiL systems design, V&V methodologies
• Python for automation; MATLAB/Simulink for real-time models
• GitHub Actions and hardware-focused test automation
• Knowledge of EtherCAT, Ethernet, CAN, SPI, I2C, UART

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale test automation frameworks
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for firmware testing
• Develop high-fidelity real-time models for hardware-in-the-loop
• Create and maintain software libraries for hardware interfaces
• Configure Linux workstations as GitHub Actions runners
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and Firmware teams on mapping and testing
• Program fault injection units to simulate fault conditions
