Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Staff Systems Engineer (level 5) in Roy, UT to drive GN&C systems engineering for the Sentinel program. You will guide requirements, interfaces, and architecture across teams and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires strong technical leadership, MBSE and verification experience, plus collaboration with the USAF customer. Must be able to coordinate across SE product teams and support program milestones. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
• 5 years of Systems Engineering experience required
• 1+ years of Requirements development / MBSE
• 1+ years of life cycle experience in Systems Engineering (requirements definition/decomposition, verification)
• 1+ years of MBSE and/or verification planning
• Experience on Sentinel program preferred

Responsabilités

• Serve as Lead/Primary reviewer for GN&C Systems Engineering for higher level technical review boards
• Drive closure of TBXs in GN&C Systems Engineering products and closure of requirement development
• Run trade studies for integrated GN&C products
• Ensure horizontal integration across SE product teams
• Ensure consistency across architecture and requirements decomposition
• Provide support to environmental requirement development and test strategy
• Provide support to Major Program Events (ARR, IDR, FDR, CDR)
• Demonstrate technical leadership and effective communication with stakeholders
