Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is hiring a Systems Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer (Level 2 or 3) for the Sentinel program in Roy, UT. You will embed in GN&C teams, developing system engineering artifacts, and ensuring sound requirements, interfaces, and software integration.

The role reports to the GN&C Software Lead and requires coordination with design engineering to set baselines and push artifacts for approvals. Eligible for a robust benefits package and 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience with bachelor’s degree, or 0 years with master’s degree.
• US citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Experience with DOORS or MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, MagicDRAW).
• Understanding of verification methods and RVAM development.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering support for Guidance, Navigation, and Control Subsystem.
• Prepare artifacts for Design Reviews and System Qualification.
• Coordinate with higher-level system engineers and design teams.
• Manage documentation baselines in Cameo and DOORS.
• Interface with customers and subcontractors to align requirements.
