Job summary
General Motors' simulation team is seeking a staff fullstack engineer to lead architectural decisions for our Simulation Scenario Definition platform and its programmatic TS/Python SDK. You will design scalable graphical editing tools used by hundreds of engineers to define complex traffic, environment, and sensor scenarios.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale platforms, tooling, or SDKs.
- Proven track recordLeading technical architecture and multi-quarter projects from concept to production.
- Front-end engineering experience on graphical apps using TypeScript with React or Vue, and graphics libraries such as WebGL/Three.js/MapboxGL.
- Expert-level Python with API/SDK development and performance optimization.
- Experience mentoring mid-level and senior engineers and improving code quality.
Responsibilities
- Define the architectural roadmap for the Simulation Scenario Definition platform and its TS/Python SDK.
- Lead the design of next-generation graphical editing tools used by hundreds of engineers.
- Drive evolution of Python infrastructure for core algorithms, serialization, validation, and cloud integration.
