Job summary

Clera is seeking a Staff Fullstack Engineer to help lead platform development from the ground up. You will work directly with the CEO, CTO, and engineering team to shape architecture, drive the product roadmap, and build software that scales for finance teams.

This is an early, high-leverage role to set technical direction, raise engineering standards, and ship products that matter across the FP&A SaaS domain. Remote-friendly with candidates in the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years contributing to system design or architecture.
• Expertise with TypeScript/JavaScript frontend and Node.js backend.
• Strong React experience and cloud architecture skills.
• Experience with GCP and BigQuery to build scalable services.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute the product roadmap with leadership.
• Design, develop, and own end-to-end features.
• Deliver robust, scalable, well-tested full-stack code.
• Establish engineering best practices and culture.
• Collaborate with Design and Operations to improve the platform daily.
