Clera is hiring a remote candidate for a Full-Stack Software Engineer role. The position is full-time with work location in the USA.

You will work across backend services (Go/Python) and frontend in React/TypeScript, designing APIs and data models for AI-enabled features, while collaborating with ML engineers and stakeholders. The role requires 3+ years of full-stack experience, strong TS/React skills, and cloud experience (AWS).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience in early-stage startups
• Proficiency in TypeScript/React (frontend) and Go or Python (backend)
• Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud infrastructure
• Experience shipping full-stack features with ownership across backend and frontend
• Ability to work in high-ownership environments with evolving scope
• Strong product sense and user-focused thinking
• Nice to have: agentic AI systems, LLM integrations, or RAG architectures
• Background in enterprise SaaS, consumer intelligence, or data-intensive products

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features end-to-end — backend services in Go/Python and frontend in React/TypeScript
• Design APIs, data models, and service architectures to support AI capabilities
• Create intuitive interfaces translating enterprise data into actionable workflows
• Collaborate with ML engineers to bring AI features to production
• Own features through scoping, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, iteration
• Engage with enterprise customers to understand real-world needs and refine the product
• Contribute to infrastructure, tooling, and developer experience as the team scales
