Job summary

Clera is hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to work across the stack, from backend services processing enterprise data to frontend interfaces that enable actionable insights. The role offers high ownership on a small, fast-moving team, taking features from idea to production while iterating with enterprise clients.

Ideal candidates have breadth, ship products end-to-end, and view product context as a superpower. Visa sponsorship is not available; NYC-area on-site relocation is expected.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full-stack experience in early-stage startups.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/React and Go or Python.
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
  • Ownership across backend, frontend, and infrastructure responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Build and ship features end-to-end across backend services (Go/Python) and frontend (React/TypeScript).
  • Design APIs, data models, and service architectures to support agentic AI features.
  • Create intuitive interfaces translating enterprise data into actionable workflows.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to deploy AI-driven features to production.
  • Own features through scoping, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
