Clever Real Estate is seeking a Staff Full-Stack Software Engineer to own customer and operational solutions across Python/Django backend and React/TypeScript frontend. You will transform ambiguous needs into complete, reliable software, often leveraging AI to increase speed, quality, and scope while staying accountable for everything you deliver.
You will join a small, high-autonomy team that prioritizes strong tradeoffs, rapid delivery, and measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong backend development with Python and Django.
- Experience building user-facing apps with React and TypeScript.
- Ownership of meaningful production outcomes.
- API design, data modeling, and integration with third-party services.
- Automation, testing, security, and robust software design.
Responsibilities
- Own full-stack product initiatives from framing to production.
- Turn ambiguous requirements into practical plans and milestones.
- Build and maintain reliable Django and TypeScript applications.
- Make architectural decisions for data models, APIs, and integrations.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring quality.
- Diagnose production issues and implement follow-up improvements.
- Collaborate with product, design, and operations to deliver outcomes.
- Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly.
