Job summary

eSimplicity Inc. is hiring a senior developer to architect and implement web applications for government clients. You will design front-end features with React, build robust back-end APIs, and model data for scalable access across an analytics platform.

You will collaborate with product, design, and QA teams in an Agile environment, write friendly API docs, and optimize performance. This role supports a remote-friendly schedule within the Eastern time zone.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or eligibility for public trust clearance.
• Minimum 4 years related experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with AWS and cloud services (preferred).
• Strong Python and Django skills with frontend tech including HTML/CSS/JS/TS.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build web application features and back-end interfaces.
• Develop user-facing features with JavaScript/React and dynamic pages.
• Build scalable back-end APIs and data models for web apps.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers in Agile sprints.
• Document APIs and deployment operations for the team.
• Work with data sets, data catalogs, and data access controls on an enterprise platform.
• Ensure code quality with tests, benchmarking, and performance tuning.
• Provide support, maintenance, and enhancements to existing applications.
