Spotter Labs is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end across a React frontend and a Django backend. You’ll design data models, build APIs, and craft the UI that ties everything together. You’ll work with a distributed team across several countries, shipping quickly and iterating on real user feedback.

The role emphasizes frontend perfection with Material UI, robust backend APIs, and AI-driven decision logic. Remote-friendly, with a fast-moving startup vibe.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React and Material UI.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with non-trivial business logic or algorithms.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete features across React frontend and Django backend.
• Develop responsive web apps using React and Material UI (MUI).
• Design backend services and APIs using Python + Django (DRF or similar).
• Create clean, responsive UIs with React that connect to our services.
• Implement algorithmic/AI logic (scoring, ranking, decision rules) and surface it in the UI.
• Write pragmatic, production-ready code that ships fast and iterates easily.
