Job summary

CaptivateIQ is seeking a seasoned software engineer to maintain and evolve the core platform used by compensation admins. You’ll design, build, and optimize data and platform functionality across the full stack, collaborating with engineers to scale features and ensure security standards.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software engineering, strong CS fundamentals, and proven ownership of product areas. Proficiency in Django and React, with experience in PostgreSQL or MySQL, is expected.

• 4+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Strong CS fundamentals (data structures/algorithms).
• Experience with frontend and backend development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, optimize, and maintain CaptivateIQ's data and core platform functionality.
• Work across the full product stack to develop and improve product features.
• Participate in the product development process from scoping projects to measuring their success and iterating based on feedback.
• Maintain high engineering and security standards, and continuously improve our codebases and processes.
• Work with engineers across the company to develop and iterate at scale.
