Fanatics Inc. is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Partnerships Engineering team. You will own platforms that onboard partners, integrate identities, and connect external accounts to Fanatics ONE, guiding architecture and driving scalable solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Identity, Loyalty, and SDK teams while mentoring engineers and improving developer experience. This role demands strong leadership and deep full‑stack expertise in a multi‑tenant environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in a staff‑level or equivalent leadership role.
• Strong full stack background across backend, APIs, and frontend tooling.
• Deep experience designing integration platforms and developer‑facing APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of partner onboarding systems and APIs connecting external partners to Fanatics ONE.
• Architect and build the Account Linking Platform for seamless external account connections.
• Drive identity provider integrations to connect to Fanatics Identity at scale.
• Build loyalty program integration systems enabling FanCash, Tier Point, and One Credit without bespoke integrations.
• Own technical quality: patterns, code reviews, observability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Identity, Loyalty, and SDK teams on shared APIs and integration patterns.
• Engage with external partners to translate requirements into scalable platform solutions.
• Improve developer experience with tooling, docs, and self‑service capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar through reviews and culture.
