Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced engineering leader to shape the Authentication and Account Security experience. You will guide a cross-functional squad, mentor engineers, and own parts of the end-to-end user journey across web and API surfaces.

You will drive technical decisions, collaborate with partner teams to build robust APIs and secure workflows, and raise the bar for quality and safety at scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in full-time software development roles.
• Experience guiding a team, influencing roadmap and overseeing complex multi-team projects.
• Experience across frontend and backend, able to operate as a stack generalist.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Build well-tested APIs and secure full-stack authentication components that scale.
